It has come to this that we are going to leave our up to date alliance: TIG. This is NOT because we have had any trouble with ppl or guilds inside this alliance, its simply because of warhammer is changing - and we need to change with it.
The reason why we have chosed to leave the alliance is due to the lack of t4 appeal and content we are suffering in the guild atm. To do this, we either need to recruit allot of new t4 members (which is quite hard) or we can change out the ppl we hang around. I find the seccond option as a more suitable solution, simply because trying to find unguilded and new t4 players would demand allot of work - which i atm feel i can avoid.
We have been going trough endless amount of alliance meetings the last 4-5 days to figure out how exactly to do this. It was propsed a merge, a merge which demanded The Asgards to be set on the line of maybe merging into other guilds, and therefor disbanding the asgards. Though this might not have became the final result (because our guild had a strong foot inside this alliance) officers, co-guild leader and guildleader has decided NOT to take that chance at all. Lately the Guild leader have been doing allot of recruiting and The Asgards has started to grow again - i therefor think that a possible risk of loosing our guild to gaing more members - is not worth it.
The possibility of the other guilds merging into The Asgards has been open all the time, but due to some trust and personal issues towards the guild Disorder from one of the largest guild in our alliance, made this almost impossible to go trough.
So, achiving both things; a big merge into Asgards AND a new alliance, is therefore very hard to achive.
And as Guildleader and officer thinks that this guild can get trough this (as we have gotten trough everything so far) without merging, we have decided that the best thing to do is to go for the alliance.
Guild leader have pulled a couple of strings and spoke to a guy called "Bedoli", and we are now welcome into a alliance hereby with guilds like; Radiant Knights, Disorder, MM and Skowyt. and some spaces open for Mondays Eltharion server merge. This will be the bigges alliance in the game and finding some t4 will now not anymore be a problem. We will merge into this alliance upcomming monday/tuesday.
If this goes as intended, this will lead The Asgards towards a more appealing guild to join. We wishes to stay casual and this is accepted by the other guilds in the alliance - therefor we may get more of those devoted players who doesnt like the mentality of a "Hardcore" guild. But who still wants some action every now and then.
All to a short end: Its just about finding new ways and new friends to kick som destro butt with!
