So whats up guys? What you all doing now days?

Not playing any MMOs currently - but I'm interested if any new MMOs can get some Asgards together again

I'm the same Jor, not mmo'ing atm as starting a new job soon (at last), so hopefully will have some extra cash to spend....
Have pre ordered star wars the old republic and hope to play with you all there.
Gonna try to get on vent or TS to chat with ya'll soon..
if i have spare cash and time before star wars, i'll jump back on war as i miss ya'll...
Asgards was a quality guild, shame war went flat.....my inet connection doesn't cut off anymore i managed to fix it, and i have a better i-net speed. like i say as soon as i sorted myself out in the new job I'LL BE BACK ! MUhahAhhaha !

I haven't decided 'bout SWTOR yet... but if enough Asgards want to, I guess I'll give it a try

For now I am having good fun with Gods & Heroes. It's pretty small, with a close community, few whiners, and few teenagers with an attitude ;p

u who used to play age of camelot and shits, gonna love this game that im so gonna start with.



Its guildwars 2. U should youtube it, and check it out. u can lvl through pvp, it has rvr, and a combat system that isnt based around the perfect build or gear. U get new skills depending on which weapons u equipp, and u can manually block/dodge stuff, u actually just have to leap to one side or do a backflip roll at the perfect timing etc.



It looks really really awesome, and has an release date (still tba) but either around the end of this day - or over new year.



I hope this is something that u guys would wanna check out. I am, for sure =))

Aye, I've already considered GW2, and it's definately something I'd be willing to try out.

I'm gonna w8 fer start wars old republic, some totally different scenery (star ships instead of horses etc) with a bit of luck some of you guys will go that way too.........why don't we meet up on vent fer a chat ?
if someone wants to call a date on shoutbox i'll try to make it, maybe set aside an evening and time once a week so we don't loose touch ?

Hi all you old gits

Hope you are all well and keeping sober (except Niffe and Princess ofc - they are never included in that type of statement ).

Well - my final day on War is 18th August - my toons on KA have got lots of dust on and my toons on KN are in a similar boat now. Like you all got totally bored with the door hitting and the nail in the coffin for me was the taking away the rr cap so all my Tier 4 toons may as well have been deleted (but I could never do that due to the history with you guys, it would be like cuttting an arm off).

Where to next - well Rift was a no no - tried it, gt to lvl 50 got bored - stopped playing

Not sure now - want something - but my activity for the last year or so has been mainly solo playing as I cannot dedicate they time not to let ppl down.

btw - never ever got to do LotD VL - never ever got to complete Lost Vale - never got to do all the tombs in LotD - due to solo playing. and never got to rr 80 on any of them either - hated the fact that it became a gear contest!!!

So I will keep an eye open on the site and see what is happening in the future.
